Dental implants are the premium tooth replacement therapy of choice, provided there is adequate bone to support the dental implant. Affixed to your jawbone with a tiny titanium screw, your custom-made replacement tooth root will function exactly as your natural teeth do. Whilst implants aren’t susceptible to decay, they can suffer from gum disease, which is why routine hygienist check-ups and a good oral hygiene routine are key to their longevity.

Successful implant placement relies on experienced dentists using high-quality materials and reputable brands – that’s us here at Seaside Dental. Our implant surgeries have a high success rate, and we will provide you with all the information you need to look after your implant effectively.
Your dentist at Seaside Dental Practice can advise you further on the benefits of dental Implants.
Seaside Dental Practice provides the following dental implant treatments:
Tired of dentures that go walkabout in your mouth when you chew? Using implants, a set of new dentures can be anchored in position. This significantly improves the stability and freedom your teeth have to break down food, as your dentures won’t be reliant on suction to stay in position. Instead, the implants provide replacement tooth roots, and your new dentures are screwed in at the gum line level. Many of our patients have chosen to make the transition from traditional dentures to implant-retained dentures, and they couldn’t be happier to have done so, reporting that their chewing, confidence and oral health had all improved.
Our All-on-4 implants are placed at carefully targeted sites in your jaw, giving you excellent biting and chewing function and a full smile.
The All-on-4 technique allows your dentist to replace a whole set of failing teeth, or gaps in your smile, in just one appointment. It’s for this reason that we nickname it ‘teeth in a day’. All-on-4 involves the placement of 2-6 implants in each jaw, which support a full set of teeth which are affixed over the top. The benefit of this is that they don’t rely on suction or the support of other teeth, as dentures and dental bridges do. The way we place your All-on-4 implants also means that if you’re someone with very little jawbone left due to living with missing teeth for many years, we can still perform treatment despite this.
All-on-4 dental implants can:
As soon as your implant surgery is complete, we will give you a temporary set of teeth to wear. These will give you the valuable chewing and smiling capabilities you need and desire whilst you wait for a permanent set of custom-made teeth to be made and for your jaw to heal. This is approximately 6 – 12 months down the line.
By using a high-tech CBCT scanner, and digital impression-taking methods, the implant placement and design of your new teeth are extremely accurate. Full mouth rehabilitation with All-on-4 is one of the most life-changing treatments we offer our patients.
