Miss Anna Wood  (Dental Therapist)

GDC NO: 258023

Brighton born and bred, I studied for 3 years at the University of Birmingham graduating with a BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy in July 2015. I have been working as a Dental Hygienist/Therapist since then. I mainly provide scale and polishes for all patients with Root Surface Debridement and Local Anaesthetic for patients with Gum Disease. I am also a qualified Dental Therapist with the ability to carry out adult fillings and Paediatric Dentistry.
Job satisfaction is the main perk of my career, I get fulfilment from improving patients' understanding of the causes, prevention and treatment of Gum Disease. I particularly enjoy giving oral hygiene advice and devising tooth brushing and flossing techniques tailored specifically to each individual.
In my spare time I like walking, going to the gym and catching up with friends.
